Granted, it's been a while, but I don't think ems snaps on anyone, even with one or two bars, without knowing full and well how to proceed. I referenced that because if we are talking about diss track capabilities, regardless of who they are aimed out, I still don't think Joe holds a candle to ems career. It's tough to declare you are so much better than a guy when you aren't even in the game anymore and never went at the guy directly (wasn't he quoted once saying that people who are retired spouting off that they shoulda coulda woulda back in the day doesn't hold much weight, though that may have been facetious, and I may be wrong entirely).īenzino actually said recently (where's he been?) that he likes Joe but Joe can't say he's better if he never went at the guy. Though I think it's a little annoying that he says em has to come to his door step, get him out of bed, to record a diss track. This makes it intriguing that he could go at em. He has a lot of practice recording diss tracks that caught the public attention against some solid guys.
Not to say he isn't a rapper or anything, but I think the art is in more of a well rounded approach maybe? Just as I consider drake less of a rap artist than an entertainer with his goal of hit songs, dance music, actually singing, etc. In terms of putting out quality records, anyways.
